WJ sails with good functioning Raymarine equipment, built in in 2007. In 2019 we already refitted our previous ship Quantum Leap with all Raymarine equipment. Being spoiled with that, we really wish to upgrade some of the equipment, such as the screen, the anemometer and we wish to upgrade the dome to a doppler type so that we have better lay overs during fog and fatigued crossings. Lucky for us you can replace parts of Raymarine, so as to save yourself money on replacing equipment that still worrks fine! So we went shopping @Dekker Watersport in Zaandam. As always we were advised perfectly and ‘our guy’ Kors came to install it all. We winched our son Bram in the masts ;-). A few cable were also replaced and some Imea 200 connectors added. But we got her functioning perfectly! So far so good!
