Willem Johannes is a 60 foot sailcutter. We bought her december 2021. She was built in 2007 by Bronsveen (a Jan Dekker design). It wasn’t until 2017 that she was fitted with het ketch cutter rigging. The first owner was Eric de Groot. His father was named Willem Johannes. In his honor and because the name is very Dutch, we decided it would fit us also perfectly as it does also our strong and tough ship.
